I’m a Sacramento-based photographer, cinematographer, and visual storyteller with over 20 years of experience in the local film industry. My passion for storytelling has shaped every stage of my career, whether I’m behind the camera, editing footage, designing sound, or creating visual effects. I believe powerful images and films do more than capture moments—they create connections, preserve memories, and communicate ideas in ways that words alone cannot.

Before pursuing visual storytelling full-time, I spent 15 years as a United States Postal Service employee. That experience taught me the value of hard work, reliability, and building relationships with people from all walks of life. Those same qualities continue to guide the way I approach every project and every client relationship today.

Outside of filmmaking and photography, sports have been a major part of my life for more than 35 years, with basketball serving as one of my greatest passions. Being part of teams, competing, and learning through both victories and setbacks has helped shape my work ethic, discipline, and collaborative approach. Family is equally important to me. Growing up with seven sisters and being an uncle to fifteen nieces and nephews has given me a deep appreciation for relationships, personality, and the moments that bring people together.

I’ve also been a lifelong fan of movies and cinema. Films have inspired my creativity for as long as I can remember, teaching me how powerful visual storytelling can be when it connects with people on an emotional level. That love for movies continues to influence my style, whether I’m creating portraits, filming events, producing commercials, or helping businesses tell their stories through video.

As someone who has lived and worked in the Sacramento area for many years, I’m proud to serve the community that has helped shape both my career and my life. There’s something special about telling the stories of local families, entrepreneurs, artists, athletes, and organizations that make our region unique. Being able to preserve milestones, celebrate achievements, and help local businesses grow through photography and film is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do.
